The McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group’s (CCG) Financial Accounting and Reporting group currently has an excellent opportunity for a candidate to join our team. This position offers a tremendous opportunity for an individual to gain an understanding of McDonald’s Corporation, the global business, financial statements, consolidation accounting, internal and external reporting and more. It will provide the candidate the ability to further enhance their analytical, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Analysis, consolidation, and reporting of monthly/quarterly/yearly administrative spend.
- Ownership of critical standard monthly/quarterly reports
- Execution of various aspects of financial statements and related footnotes – namely the consolidated Balance Sheet and/or Cash Flow statements
- Technical accounting application and assist with GF Modernisation transition/implementation.
- Collaboration with various stakeholders across global markets and functions (i.e., Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, People, Legal, internal, and external auditors, etc)
- Assist in preparation of ad hoc research requests from management and key stakeholders.

Global Business Services (GBS) – Accounting & Finance – As an accounting and finance subject matter specialist, you will ensure that all accounting transactions are recorded timely, accurately and with compliance to relevant standards and principles. You will provide support and mentorship across the organisation on all financial matters and seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of processes to ensure the robustness of the financial documents and reporting.

Operations Finance – you will collaborate closely with our stakeholders to drive the business' long-term strategy, support growth and ensure the future financial strength of the business. You will partner with CCG Finance, Tax and Treasury as well as the GBS team, working closely to ensure financial discipline and where we play a role in influencing this.
- Strategic Finance - you will help drive business growth and strengthen the McDonald's brand by developing strategic growth drivers, supporting the various initiatives in partnership with various internal and external stakeholders.

Financial Reporting & Controls – As a trusted finance adviser for the entire organisation. Providing in depth financial analysis of how our business/corporate functions has performed and helping drive future decisions to grow our business. You will also be hands on in learning and guiding on technical accounting and reporting standards.

Financial Planning & Analysis – As a diligent financial business partner you will help with the financial projection and planning processes working with the CCG Team, Markets and Global Functions allowing us to measure and analyse our performance against our targets as well as looking forwards at what’s to come, so you can effectively business partner with other departments to help drive future strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance, professional qualifications is advantageous.
- Strong track records in accounting, auditing, and/or financial services industries
- Management Accounting
- Year end accounting
- Auditing
- Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel including the ability to use functions such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to quickly learn other software applications necessary to complete daily tasks.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud will be beneficial.
