We are currently seeking a highly skilled GIS Principal Engineer. As a GIS Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of GIS solutions for our clients.

Requirements

• Design, Build, and Maintain Multiple complex software application technologies and ensure their seamless interaction with Telstra’s processes and systems.
• Create software that ensures data and network security management, optimizing time between commission and production.
• Collaborate with and influence a multi-stakeholder landscape to translate customer needs into leading-edge software applications that meet Telstra’s standards.
• Work closely with team members and key stakeholders to gather deep insights about software application challenges and opportunities.
• Drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, setting ‘best practice’ standards in testing and enhancing productivity, customer experience, and profitability.
• Lead initiatives or components of initiatives with significant impact across functions, aligning with the strategic direction of your team.
• Take responsibility for your actions and decisions, guiding junior engineers and supporting their development to achieve team outcomes.
