Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) Market Sales Manager

The Group owns Costa Navarino, one of the largest tourism investments in the Mediterranean. The destination encompasses five distinct resort areas developed on 1,000 hectares, featuring 5-star hotels, luxury private residences, signature golf courses, and many year-round facilities and activities. 

The Group also controls Ionian Hotel Enterprises S.A., owner of a historic and flagship property in the center of Athens, which is currently being transformed into a new city destination. 

Additionally, TEMES has partnered with Lamda Development S.A. with the majority stake in the joint development of two state-of-the-art hotels along with branded residences in the framework of the landmark project of The Ellinikon, which aims to put the ‘Athens Riviera’ on the global tourism map. 

 In the role of Sales and Account Manager, Leisure Segment, you will be responsible for a key feeder market Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the Costa Navarino Cluster. Working under the guidance of the Director of Sales, your primary responsibility is to maximize revenue, including rooms, F&B, and facilities, by managing existing accounts in DACH. You will also proactively seek out new prospects and ensure their conversion into business that aligns with the Hotels' budgetary objectives. Furthermore, you will represent Costa Navarino globally and uphold the company's reputation at all times, including various social and industry events. As a worldwide Costa Navarino Ambassador, you will consistently promote the company's quality image and values.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key accounts and prospects to maximize revenue
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to meet revenue and budget goals
  • Proactively acquire new accounts and guide them through the sales process
  • Maintain call objectives and execute timely follow-up
  • Ensure adherence to standards and system utilization
  • Maintain up-to-date activity and rate information for each account
  • Handle individual, leisure group, and event inquiries
  • Represent the Costa Navarino Resorts at trade fairs, promoting the hotels
  • Understand the marketing plan and budget guidelines
  • Organize sales calls and international events
  • Lead SITE inspections and familiarization trips
  • Prospect new accounts for increased property revenues
  • Generate new ideas / target niche markets to extend season

Requirements

  • University Degree
  • Fluent in English and German
  • 4 years’ experience in 5* hotel sales and at least 1 year in Luxury sales
  • Willing to travel 20 weeks/year abroad on business trips
  • Flexible to organize and lead SITE inspections and FAM trips in Costa Navarino (this adds min 30 days of travel, so it is important)
