Your key responsibilities
- Design and engineer subgrade and slope stability
- Analyse and provide reports like Geotechnical report, MUR, based on geotechnical investigations
- Responsible for geotechnical calculations
- Evaluation of Geotechnical parameters & development of soil profile
- Establish and deliver drawings and 3D-models
We expect that you have
- Experience of working with projects in the Nordics
- Good written and verbal English language (CEFR minimum level B1)
- A qualified degree in civil engineering from a reputable college in soil mechanics and basic engineering or similar
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
- Prior experience working with European standards, Eurocode: Geotechnical design.
- Good knowledge in soil mechanics with the ability to handle advanced calculations and experience in reviewing calculations prepared by other consultants
- A good knowledge of working in relevant applications of MS Office
We appreciate if you have
- Analyse and provide reports like Geotechnical report PM based on geotechnical investigations
- Knowledge of Trimble/Novapoint and/or MicroStation
- Working knowledge of AcrGIS applications.
- Experience of working with the Swedish Transport Administration
- Competence regarding sheet piles, retaining walls, pile foundations
- Working knowledge of Geostudio - GEOSLOPE (SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, SIGMA/W) Plaxis 2D / 3D
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D with 3D modelling expertise.
