What you will be doing?
· Prepare, extract, and organise spatial and non-spatial data requirements based on the client requirements
· Analysing spatial data, discovering patterns and trends using mapping software and in-house developed tools
· Creating digital maps with geographic data and other data sources
· Creating "shapefiles" to merge topographical data with external data
· Working on satellite imagery & data to map and assess criticality of client assets
· Image processing & analysis, photogrammetry and arial photography interpretation
· Asset mapping, classification, digitisation, Geo-referencing and feature creation
· Ensure productivity targets are met with utmost focus on quality
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years of work experience in GIS domain.
- Experience with mapping tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS and Google Earth Pro.
- Contribute to maintaining data quality standards and ensure GIS data integrity
- The ability to learn quickly and a willingness to obtain functional knowledge and understanding of project specification/procedures.
