The Challenge
GoodHabitz is on a mission to revolutionize corporate learning, and we're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our dynamic team in France. With ambitious growth targets in one of the most competitive markets in Europe, we need someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This is a key leadership role where you’ll be driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and fostering a unique, vibrant company culture that’s at the heart of everything we do.
You’ll take full P&L responsibility for the French market, leading a team of 5-7 talented individuals across Sales, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and Customer Success (CS). While the focus will be on scaling the business, expanding our customer base, and ensuring market penetration, you’ll also work closely with central teams to ensure you have the support needed to hit those ambitious targets. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, inspire, and coach a team of 5-7 across Sales, SDRs, and Customer Success, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals. You’ll be responsible for performance reviews, ongoing feedback, talent development, and building a high-performing team culture. You’ll also oversee recruitment and succession planning.
- Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: Lead business development efforts to generate new revenue opportunities and ensure strong customer retention. Tailor the broader company strategy to the specific needs and opportunities of the French market, ensuring we meet our ambitious targets.
- P&L Ownership: Be fully accountable for the profitability of the business in France, managing the financial health of the operation and ensuring we hit revenue and profit targets.
- Strategic Market Positioning: Monitor the competitive landscape, understand customer needs, and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge. You’ll be instrumental in shaping our local presence and driving brand awareness.
- Culture Ambassador: Represent and nurture the GoodHabitz culture locally, ensuring that our values, energy, and unique approach to learning are reflected in everything we do.
Requirements
- Experience: You bring strong GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy experience in the B2B SaaS sector (ideally Ed-Tech). You know how to adapt a global approach to a local market and have a proven track record of building and scaling teams.
- Leadership: You’ve led teams before and are passionate about developing talent, creating a culture of success, and driving results. You know how to inspire your team, even in a competitive and fast-changing environment.
- Market Knowledge: You’re highly attuned to the dynamics of the French market and have experience executing strategies that speak directly to local needs.
- Ambition & Growth Mindset: You’re excited by a challenge and have a track record of hitting aggressive growth targets. You thrive in competitive markets and have the drive to expand GoodHabitz’s footprint in France.
