We are currently recruiting a General Labourer Operative to join our team on a permanent basis. Working across the Bradford District, you will provide assistance to our building trade operatives with regards to property maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
- Assist building trade operatives across all trades in their daily duties with regards property maintenance tasks.
- Demo and remove components & building materials from our empty and occupied homes.
- Carry out cleaning and clearing of our empty properties to a high condition. On occasion, belongings may still be in the property and/or the property may have been left in an extremely bad state of cleanliness.
- Fulfil driving and logistical duties across the Bradford district and beyond to ensure materials, equipment and resources are available to tradespeople and sub-contractors, dispose of customers belongings and waste materials from either our occupied or empty homes
- Abide by the requirements of HASAWA and all other related safety regulations, the ability to work at height in excess of 5 metres, lifting and carrying materials up to 25 kg,
- Originate, maintain and provide updated work documentation as required.
- Support any repairs and maintenance activities to our tenanted & empty homes across all Incommunities properties
- Ensure good housekeeping, cleanliness, and tidiness on the respective work stream / project.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the Building Maintenance industry covering a wide range of multiple trade disciplines.
- A full manual current driving license
- An awareness of Health and Safety systems such as COSHH, HASAWA as well as Manual Handling safety regulations.
- Basic IT skills with a view to operating a hand held device to receive and complete maintenance tasks, order materials and carry out online trade based training.
- Willingness to undertake continuous professional development.
- A clear customer focus and a positive attitude.
