GCP Architect

We are looking for a Google Cloud Architect who will be the GCP owner for the internal needs of the Group. He/she may also contribute to any technical architecture matters in the Group Information system. He/she will be involved then in defining technical solutions mixing various technologies: GCP project based, Workspace APIs, SaaS applications, mobile front-end applications. 

The position is 100% remote from Spain. 


Your missions will be: 

  • Take on the role of Employee Experience technical leader, be the referent for the technical study of an evolution or a new solution in the concerned scope.
  • Give the technical framework to the project manager by relying on internal / external subcontractors as well as application or infrastructure teams.
  • Understand the interactions between the components of the Information System in order to propose appropriate transversal solutions.
  • Understand the challenges and processes of the support functions of an international Consultancy company.
  • Mastering Google platforms (Workspace, GCP and its dependence via APIs)
  • Be the Product owner of the internal GCP instances.
  • Advise and guide Devoteam entities for any GCP framework matters .
  • API first oriented architecture: integration and general development through the IS are based on Restful APIs.
  • Coordinate development activities based on Google technology for Corporate aplications.
  • 3-4 years minimum as Google Technical Lead or Architect.
  • Successful experience on the Google platform.
  • Proficiency of Google components: and their interdependencies relating to Workspace services.
  • Good knowledge of API-first and microservices architecture.
  • Ability to study the feasibility of integration into the application ecosystem.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with IT department stakeholders, business referees and development subcontractors.

Optional skills:

  • Knowledge of key support functions processes: finance, HR, sales, collaboration
  • Ability to understand and apply  ITSM processes.
