Informa Group Plc. is hiring a

GBS Head of Finance Solution Architecture

Greater London, United Kingdom
Full-Time

Reporting to the GBS Head of Business Process Excellence, the GBS Head of Process Architecture & Design is a leadership role, accountable for the effective design, development and introduction of new GBS services.

In particular, and in the short and mid-term this is largely focused on pro-active development of new Order-to-Cash functionality, including CRM integration, online payment facilities, etc.  In the future, the scope of the role may expand to cover other process areas (e.g. P2P).

The Technology Services and Support function (TSS) within Global Support has built up strength and leadership in enterprise architecture and solution architecture over the recent past, with significant plans to build and develop new O2C platforms and solutions (as mentioned above).  GBS needs to recruit/build corresponding skills and resources in order to partner with TSS.  Key to this partnership and to meeting divisional requirements is to build equivalent strength and capability in solution design, services design, and controls design.  GBS service architecture and design needs to consider services scope (service catalogue), global processes, governance and controls, assurance, and scalability.

Development of centrally designed, O2C capability is a major focus across all divisions and Global Support and the introduction of this role is part of a wider set of investments in pro-active, coordained service and platform design.

The role will have elements of input and advice from the candidates own experience and knowledge but the successful candidate will also be responsible for hiring resource and talent to create capacity and specialism as needed, either on a temporary, fixed-term or permanent basis, as appropriate.
