About the Position
We are looking for hardworking individuals with an interest in the communications field to serve as Game Night Assistants. In this role, you wil gain hands-on experience in the professional sports industry. Our game night staff consists of 5-7 people reporting directly to the Vice President, Director and full-time members of the PR department.

This is a part-time position based onsite in San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet media at press gate, distribute credentials and ensure all media members are aware of their seat location and any other pertinent information
- Serve as dining room attendant, collect money and check in media while helping to maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Assemble final stat books for postgame distribution
- Distribute stats and other information before, during and after the game
- Record and transcribe pre and postgame quotes from coaches and players
- Assist Warriors PR staff and media members with miscellaneous assignments as needed
Required Skills and Experience
- Currently enrolled senior or junior undergraduate with a major in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Sports Management or a related field
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills and an outgoing personality
- Ability to perform tasks proactively in a dynamic work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with GSW and the NBA
- Available to work nights/weekends (approximately 4:30pm – 11:00pm) for the entirety of the NBA season which runs from October through as late as mid-June (consists of all preseason home games, 41 regular season home games and a potential for additional post-season home games)
