Game Designer

Job Overview

World of Tanks Blitz is looking for an experienced Game Designer. You’ll be a part of the product team which develops and expands game events and core mechanics. Our core focus is to provide new and exciting player experiences as well as to improve existing gameplay features.

What will you do?

• Take part in the process of creating core game mechanics and features, game modes and ratings.
• Work closely with Product Owner and UX-designer as a part of developer team.
• Partner with internal and external teams to execute development goal.
• Create documents on various World of Tanks Blitz aspects.
• Gather information and analyze data.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years’ experience as a game designer (preferable shooters/midcore games).
• Strong skills of working on design documentation.
• Ability to visualize your ideas and create mock-ups.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to clearly present ideas verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of World of Tanks Blitz gameplay and mechanics.
• Excellent knowledge of various game monetization mechanics and engagement mechanics (current trends, current direction of industry development).
• Rich experience in playing shooters.
• Experience working with games based on Unreal Engine.
• Intermediate English.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience in working as a game designer in mobile shooters.
• Working with Git or other version control system.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Vast gaming experience in projects of different genres.
• Game portfolio.
• Rich experience in playing World of Tanks Blitz.
