We are seeking a talented individual with a strong focus on meta-game design and a passion for creating engaging player experiences.
Reports to
Lead Game Designer
What will you do?
- Design, implement and maintain meta-game and economic systems, such as multiplayer matchmaking, ranking systems, progression, etc.
- Assess player needs and find opportunities for improving the player experience in whichever ways are most impactful outside of the game.
- Conceptualize and create detailed game design documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the Game Director and Design Team to deliver a thrilling, high-quality product.
What are we looking for?
- Experience as a game designer with a track record of successful releases for Western audiences.
- Experience designing progression, matchmaking or social systems.
- Game design experience on live service/games-as-a-service titles in the midcore/hardcore action game sphere.
- Strong communication skills.
- A progressive critical thinker who can develop solutions to overcome the obstacles and challenges that come with new game development.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Balance design experience: Previous experience in balancing game mechanics or systems to enhance gameplay and overall user experience.
