As a Game Developer specializing in backend code, you will be instrumental in bringing our slot games to life. By translating abstract specifications into tangible, high-quality code, you will work at the heart of game creation. Collaborating closely with mathematicians, game designers, and front-end developers, you will be responsible for crafting the core functionalities that define players’ experience. Your role involves integrating complex features and mechanics, ensuring each game is both engaging and seamless.
Key aspects of the position include:
- Developing the backend code from abstract specifications to create fully functional game features;
- Collaborating with mathematicians and game designers to ensure game mechanics are accurately implemented;
- Working alongside frontend developers to integrate backend functionalities with the game’s frontend, creating a cohesive and engaging player experience;
- Building games with diverse features and mechanics, ensuring high quality and performance;
- Identifying technical roadblocks and proposing solutions when needed.
- 2+ years of experience in the gaming sector, with a track record of involvement in successfully launched games;
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, including but not limited to PHP, Java, C#, C++, or Python; experience with PHP is a plus;
- Skilled in code optimization and debugging;
- Understanding of mathematical probabilities, statistics, and their application in game development;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members in a dynamic creative process, and a continuous drive for learning and improvement.
