The G&A Recruiter will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, including HR, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and the ELT, driving full-cycle recruitment and talent strategy. This role requires a highly polished talent professional with deep functional recruiting expertise, advanced sourcing capability, mastery of AI-driven recruiting tools, and exceptional relationship-building skills.

You will partner with executives to define future skill needs, drive long-term talent pipeline development, and elevate hiring practices across the organization through data, insights, and modern assessment methodologies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Executive Talent Partnership & Advisory

  • Serve as a consultative talent advisor to HR, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Functions, and ELT stakeholders.
  • Educate leaders on hiring trends, market intelligence, competitive insights, and future-of-work capabilities.
  • Influence and guide stakeholders toward best-practice recruiting processes, ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
  • Provide insights from LinkedIn Talent Insights, Compete dashboards, and market mapping to inform strategic workforce decisions.

Full-Cycle Recruitment Excellence

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for Sales, Marketing, HRBP/COE, and other G&A roles.
  • Drive rigorous intake/kickoff meetings, structured process management, candidate evaluation, and offer negotiation.
  • Ensure strong funnel discipline and a data-driven approach to quality of hire.

Advanced Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Build, nurture, and manage proactive talent pipelines for critical and future-facing roles.
  • Utilize expert-level knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Insights, and AI-enabled sourcing tools to surface high-caliber talent.
  • Apply advanced Boolean search, persona-based sourcing, and competitive mapping strategies.

Assessment & Interviewing Expertise

  • Certified or highly experienced in VBI (Value Based Interviewing) and BBI (Behavior Based Interviewing) methodologies.
  • Experienced in facilitating and coaching leaders on Case Study assessments, including panel interview design and evaluation calibration.
  • Train hiring teams on structured interviewing, bias mitigation, and consistent evaluation standards.

AI, Automation & Recruiting Innovation

  • Leverage modern AI tools, prompts, and sourcing automations to increase recruiter efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Stay up to date with emerging recruiting technologies, competitive platforms, and talent intelligence tools.
  • Coach ELT and hiring managers on how AI is transforming talent markets and what skillsets will matter most over the next 3–5 years.

Candidate Experience & Relationship Management

  • Deliver a high-touch, transparent candidate journey from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on priorities.
  • Represent WD as a brand ambassador to the external talent market.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 4+ years supporting Sales, Marketing, and HR roles (enterprise or global scale preferred).
  • Deep expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, and advanced Boolean sourcing; certifications strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of modern recruiting technologies, including AI sourcing tools, prompt engineering, talent intelligence platforms, and CRM automations.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and influence senior-level decision-makers.
  • Proven experience building and sustaining long-term pipelines for high-impact G&A roles.
  • Hands-on experience with VBI, BBI, structured interview techniques, and/or case study facilitation.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand organizational capability needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a global, matrixed technology company.
  • Exposure to Sales enablement, marketing analytics, modern HR technologies, or digital transformation.
  • Ability to translate talent trends into practical workforce planning insights.
  • Certification in industry-standard interviewing or assessment frameworks (VBI, BBI, Hogan, Gallup, etc.).

  • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.  This range may be modified in the future.
  • If your position is non-exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws.  You may also be eligible for shift differential pay, depending on the shift to which you are assigned.
  • You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under either Western Digital’s Short Term Incentive Plan (“STI Plan”) or the Sales Incentive Plan (“SIP”) which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance, depending on your role and your performance. You may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
