  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the security firmware
  • Writing code in programming languages like C, C++ to create firmware that controls and manages the hardware components of a device
  • Debugging and testing firmware on the actual hardware. This will involve troubleshooting issues related to hardware-software interactions, optimizing code for performance, and ensuring the firmware's reliability
  • Involved in implementing security measures such as encryption, secure boot, and authentication to protect the device from unauthorized access and tampering
  • Responsible for optimizing firmware for speed, memory usage, and power efficiency. This can involve profiling code, identifying bottlenecks, and making optimizations to enhance overall system performance
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware and higher-level software
  • Responsible for writing clear and comprehensive documentation which is essential for firmware development
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in their field and continuously learn new skills and tools

BS Computer Sc or relevant field
