Project Background: The Financial Services Modernization (FSM) program will address the need to select a new financial system service provider to implement improved and integrated financial system capabilities in support of its financial, procurement, and asset management operations to replace the current system.

Position Description:

This role will provide support to the client in managing and updating the requirements traceability matrix (RTM); validating functional and technical specs; supporting change management; supporting User, V&V, and independent testing of functional capability. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Financial system functional support related to SAP S/4Hana
  • System cutover and post-implementation functional support
  • Coordinating among the cross functional teams for all the following task activities to ensure alignment and agreement
  • Managing and updating changes to the RTM
  • Providing Functional and Technical Specification support along with configuration management 
  • Develop and obtain approval of business process documentation related to the implementation of system and processes

Required Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • BA/BS degree or higher and 3+ years of experience as an Financial Functional Consultant supporting large “ERP” financial management applications, (SAP S/4HANA is a plus)
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Federal Financial Management laws, policies, processes and procedures
  • 3+ years of experience working with different Functional & Technical teams to support existing systems and implementing new systems, processes and procedures. Research, evaluate and establish business processes associated with ERP.
  • 3+ years Financial system cutover and post-implementation functional support
  • Proven experience and success in communicating and building relationships to coordinate between the functional users and the implementation team across all components of a large Financial system migration
