Full Time Merchandiser

Reporting to the Tactical Manager, the Merchandiser role will involve working as part of a team to deliver high visibility for all our retail clients. Core focus for the role would be stock rotation and planogram compliance. They will be required to seek out opportunities in store and deliver results to CPM and Client standards in order to assist of sales growth across categories.

Merchandisers will be expected to work on their own initiative and build strong relationships with store managers and achieve additional displays.

Responsibilities:

  • To adhere to journey plans given by line manager
  • To ensure that all merchandising guidelines are being adhered to with emphasis on Planogram compliance, maximising promotional space and negotiating with Store Manager
  • Record relevant sales and merchandiser requirements, competitor activity and provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Ensure stock is rotated at all times and any short-dated stock is recorded on XDA and highlighted to store manager;
  • Maintain and grow planogram space where possible;
  • Ensure all products have correct SEL placed in front of the product;
  • Merchandise all promotional ends and ensure correct pricing is in place;
  • Capture before and after photographs on a handheld device
  • Liaise with store manager prior to leaving ensure they are happy with work completed;
  • Liaise with Tactical scheduler before and after each call;
  • Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team;
  • To generate new ideas and ways of working
  • To support all product launches and promotions across all serviced brands
  • To maintain all CPM and client standards and policies
  • To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
  • To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager

Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Familiar with technology
  • Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills
