The Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist or Counsellor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering evidence-based treatments, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and experience in administering psychological assessments as well as strong report writing skills.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, with a primary focus on CBT.
- Develop specialised clinical care pathways in line with the evidence-base and best practice.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients, both in-person and virtually.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing service development and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered treatment plans.
- Work closely with our 24/7 helpline responder team to manage risk, ensure the safety of clients in crisis situations and provide crisis interventions
- Develop and implement SOPs for risk management and clinical procedures, and train providers on these processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
- Continuously update professional knowledge and skills through participation in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Ability to provide after-office hour care (Monday to Friday 6 pm to 9 pm , Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm)
- Occasional night and weekend shifts depending on client requirements
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or Counselling
- At least 1-3 years of post-graduate clinical or counselling experience, preferably in a mental health setting.
- Expertise in individual and group facilitation
- Proficient in planning and executing online seminars with the use of various web platforms and adept at creating engaging content.
- Proficient in effectively navigating and managing crisis situations.
- Experience in administering psychological assessments (for clinical psychologists)
- Strong knowledge and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments with a focus on CBT as a core treatment modality.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Counsellor in Singapore.
- Must be able to virtual and in person sessions at Intellect's office location or our partnered client's location.
- Good to have: Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health professionals.
