🎯 Your role

We are looking for people to join a diverse and driven team of product-minded engineers who value collaboration, impact, and learning. We are a remote-first product development team working together across Germany, UK and Spain. You will get to shape the product, tech, and culture of an early-stage Startup, collaborating closely with an experienced and supportive team.

 

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy building intuitive, responsive, and performant user interfaces while collaborating closely with backend and data teams. You’ll feel right at home if you can:

  • Build modern, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and CSS, with a strong focus on user experience and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and design to understand user needs and deliver impactful features.
  • Integrate APIs into frontend applications, ensuring smooth and responsive apps.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design systems, component libraries, and frontend architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues across the stack.
  • Help shape a cutting-edge development environment with tools like CI/CD, automated testing, and version control best practices.
  • Occasionally dive into backend code (Golang) or infrastructure (Terraform, GitHub Actions) when needed to unblock progress.

To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need:

  • Frontend Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS (Styled Components, Redux Toolkit, React Testing Library, Jest, Storybook, Cypress and Playwright)
  • Full Stack Awareness: Understanding of backend services, APIs.
  • Collaboration: A proactive communicator who enjoys working in cross-functional teams and explaining technical topics to non-technical colleagues.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a bias for action.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and confident communication in English.
