Last year, we successfully raised $18 million in our Series A funding round, led by Felicis Ventures, with participation from BGV, Alven, HarbourVest, Techstars, and prominent experts in GTM (Go-to-Market) and PLG (Product-Led Growth) strategies, such as Elena Verna, former CMO at Miro, Darius Contractor, CPO at Vendr, and Sahil Mansuri, CEO of Bravado.

What does Engineering at MadKudu look like?
We're growing fast but we're still a human-sized company (50 people) which means you're joining a rocket ship right before liftoff ⚡️We're across two continents and countries but the Engineering Team is located in Paris. Joining the team, you'll have the opportunity to grow alongside your colleagues and learn new things every single day.
We've built our application using
Node.js, Python and AWS services and are constantly improving our stack to match our needs. We're big proponents of technology choices that maximize ownership, flexibility, and asynchronous work (continuous delivery, microservices, infrastructure-as-code).
We're working with some amazing customers, including some that you probably already know as an engineer: MongoDB, LucidChart, etc.
We are currently looking for students able to do a long term internship of 6 months.
Responsibilities & activities
- Contribute to the back-end and front-end development and improvement of our user interfaces.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, particularly in integrating UI elements with back-end functionalities.
- Demonstrate an understanding of web technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript and tech such as React, Vite, NestJS or librairies like Chakra UI.
- Complete tasks and projects within the given timeframe, showcasing your ability to balance front-end creativity with functional programming.
Skills
- Good coding abilities, with a willingness to improve in both front-end and back-end development.
- Appreciation for well-finished and polished interfaces.
- Familiarity with Node.js or a willingness to learn.
- Good understanding of React.
- Knowledge of SQL is appreciated.
Bonus skills
- Experience with Vite, NestJS or librairies like Chakra UI. (all of this are nice to have but not mandatory).
