The Opportunity

Measure.Monks, the marketing effectiveness division of Media.Monks, is looking for a bright and personable Full Stack Developer at the top of their game to run the next phase of our software development roadmap and help drive the company on towards continued double digit growth.

 

The role description

As a Full Stack Developer, your role will be to lead the development of our client facing tools and systems and to ensure that our solutions can plug seamlessly into wider group initiatives.  Specifically we are looking for someone who can;

  • Lead the technical development of our software solutions and products for clients around the world, designing and building solutions
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to further our other marketing effectiveness solutions and tooling 
  • Work closely with senior leadership to take top level ideas and turn them into concrete development plans
  • Develop back-end and front-end environments that use modern technologies, look great and deliver against current security best practices
  • Contribute to, and learn about the latest and greatest in back-end security
  • Create tools and packages that will boost development speed and are easy to maintain and scale
  • Work with development teams in our wider group to ensure that our solutions plug effortlessly into their platforms and systems

 

Requirements

We are looking for someone at the top of their game who has a proven track record in developing high performance, secure applications for clients.  We are specifically interested in candidates with experience in the following areas;

  • Proven experience developing, deploying and maintaining client facing applications
  • Experience with Linux
  • Solid experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue, and the ability to quickly adapt to new frameworks and technologies
  • You have relevant experience in Node.js, you’re confident in developing a high-load, high-performance, stable and secure software
  • You have relevant experience with HTML/CSS, Javascript and Typescript
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and no-SQL environments like MongoDB or BigQuery 
  • You have experience in Cloud (GCP experience is especially valuable), and any other backend technologies are a plus (Python, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, OCI, etc).
  • You are highly driven, dedicated, and have a keen sense of personal responsibility, and are happy working independently on projects and solutions
  • Experience in marketing analytics and with core Data Science libraries in R and Python alongside experience deploying RShiny apps is a bonus
