Your role

As a Full Stack Developer on our internal tooling team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our platform, which thousands of users rely on to set up their remote workspaces. Your work will focus on expanding the platform to manage not only the flow of the features we provide to clients but also the physical aspects of those features, enabling more effective internal management of operational features. You will be part of a diverse team of engineers working both remotely and in a hybrid environment, where your contributions will directly influence architectural decisions and elevate our platform.

You will collaborate closely with our Operations team to develop new features, expand our product offerings, and continually enhance the internal tools that support our business. Your work will center on building reusable APIs and components to deliver best-in-class product experiences for customers.


Key Responsibilities & Competencies:

To succeed in this role, you’ll focus on excelling in the following key areas:

1. Internal Tooling & Product Development:
- Design and build scalable internal tools that enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s hybrid working model.

- Continuously improve the internal platform by identifying new opportunities for optimization and introducing innovative features that support business growth.

2. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Engineering, to understand business needs and align on the development of internal tools that improve both employee experience and operational efficiency.

- Regularly collaborate with remote and hybrid teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on project goals and technical strategies. 


3. API & Architecture Design:

- Lead the development of reusable APIs and modular components, ensuring that architectural decisions support the platform’s scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Proactively contribute to key architectural decisions, balancing technical best practices with business requirements to drive innovation. 

4. Performance Optimization & Scaling:

- Ensure that internal tools are optimized for performance, enabling seamless scaling as the company expands globally.

- Continuously evaluate the technical infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement to support the platform’s growth and efficiency.

5. User-Centric Design & Usability:

- Focus on creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces, leveraging low-code tooling where appropriate to streamline development.

- Prioritize user experience by building interfaces that are not only functional but also elegant and easy to use for internal stakeholders


6. Problem-Solving & Innovation:

- Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues within internal tools, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
