THE ROLE
Our IT/ Data and Digital department is in charge of defining and driving the company's digital strategy across our different departments. Our mission is to build digital assets and develop employee digital skills to improve our organization and process efficiencies. In a context of digital acceleration and the company's growth, our Department is looking for a Full Stack Developer to work in direct relation with the Chief Digital and Data Officer.
Full stack Developer : Front End Expert
Be a Part of a Team Where You Will
- Maintain and improve various software products at ARCHIMED
- Collaborate with other front-end/back-end developers on product development and improvement.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
- Get feedback from and build solutions for users and customers
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the team on planning and developing new software product features as well as web page content
- Ensuring optimization for different platforms, operating systems, and end devices
- Documentation of various front-end/backend development components and processes
- Training of new junior front-end/back-end developers
Front End experience preffered
Requirements
Advanced degree in Computer Science or a relevant field (preferably)
Proven work experience (2/5 years) as a full stack developer while developing user-friendly web applications, web pages, and/or mobile apps, with a preference on front end development,
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, & deployment)
Knowledge of developing Django (ORM, class-based views, generic views, forms, templates) web apps
Strong understanding of Pytest, Model Bakery for testing and implementing a frontend UI following mockups
You have experience with database design, development and maintenance using tools such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
Experience working with the front-end languages/frameworks/technologies such as Vue.js, React, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience developing and working with RESTful APIs
Experience working with Git for version control and CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Jenkins, Gitlab etc.)
Nice-to-have - Familiarity with developing software using agile principles
- Experience with Infrastructure / DevOps is a plus (Docker, Cloud, Azure)
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- Experience with Microservice architecture
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
