We are seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join our investment advisory team in Makati, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly web applications that support our investment advisory services.
- Design and implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces for our investment advisory platforms
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic
- Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Implement and maintain code quality standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues to ensure smooth user experiences
- Contribute to the development of reusable code libraries and components
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with frontend build tools and package managers
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of investment advisory concepts and financial markets (preferred)
- Previous work experience in the financial services or investment advisory sector (preferred)
