About the Marketing Technology

We are seeking a Frontend Engineering Lead to join our Web Applications team. If you have prior experience as an Engineer and Team Leader and would like to help us build and maintain the secure, efficient system supporting the growth of the company, we encourage you to apply.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for development of our web applications and mentoring a small team of frontend engineers. You will have a direct impact on our solutions, technical roadmap and improvements development.

Our team is partnering with product, content, security, localisation and other engineering teams.

What you will be responsible for

Leading a team of up to 3 frontend engineers, providing mentorship and support to foster their growth and ensure high performance.
Developing web applications in cooperation with payments, data and marketing teams.
Building the architecture of delivered solutions.
Helping to prioritize backlog to ensure timely progression of projects and initiatives.
Maintaining system integrity, including crucial technical metrics, SLOs, security and sustainability.

What you’ll do

In this role must-haves needed are:

3 years+ of engineering leadership background and strong interest in building and operating secure, scalable and reliable software.
Bachelors (or equivalent) education in a technology field
Strong coding experience in modern JavaScript frameworks like React of Vue.js
Deep understanding of concepts/principles such as, but not limited to, SOLID principles, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and TDD.
Excellent communication skills, willingness to work at the interface of business and technology when needed.
The ability to prioritize appropriately, plan and think analytically.
An approach focused on solving problems and unlocking business requirements while maintaining the high quality of the solutions created.
Proficient in agile principles, able to assess team output, and provide guidance.
A strong sense of ownership, outstanding problem-solving skills, a continuous desire to learn, and a positive disposition.

At the moment, we do not sponsor visas in the EU. For Hong Kong, we require at least two years of working experience and a university degree in a related field. For Singapore and the UK, we can only sponsor visas for mid-career or above.
