Volt Lines is a technology powered mobility platform aiming to solve urban mobility problems. We view empty seats in traffic as both the cause of the problem and its solution. There are more than 50,000 buses in Istanbul operating at 9% efficiency and we want to solve this problem. Making shuttle buses smarter, more efficient and dynamic allows us to create an alternative transportation network that can replace even car ownership. About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to help build and optimize our web applications, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly experience for our users.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality user interfaces for our applications, ensuring responsive design and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate requirements into functional and engaging web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members.
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and best practices to continuously improve the development process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Working with design systems is a plus.
