Role Description

We are looking for a front-end engineer to contribute towards the development of a high-volume fraud technology platform. You will be responsible for building the client-side of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Our codebase is built with React hooks and TypeScript, and is supported by modern tooling (Webpack, Jest, ESLint, Storybook).

You will work closely with engineers across multiple projects to deliver Ravelin’s public facing portals. At Ravelin, we strongly encourage learning and development of new and existing skills, so this is the perfect opportunity to grow and learn new things!

Requirements

  • 1 years' work experience as a front-end engineer
  • Working experience with JavaScript and at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue), HTML, CSS, Git, and APIs is essential
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Understanding of layout aesthetics and user experience
  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Nice to haves

  • An understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
  • Experience with React and TypeScript
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests
