Job Overview
As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for working on our gaming platform G123 or in-house tools, mainly with React, to ensure a smooth user and employee experience. You will be working closely with the marketing department to increase the number and quality of users. As the G123 platform grows its portfolio of games and expands globally, your main responsibilities include:
- Development and maintenance of our G123 platform to handle users, payment, links to social networks, etc.
- Development and maintenance of several in-house tools for our employees and content provider
- Coding and design of frontend features
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field
- 2+ years experience with React / Angular / Vue or other frontend frameworks
- Web frontend development/ frontend engineering
- React.js or other modern web development framework and browser technologies
- Can build complex layouts with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and HTML
- Can build and and debug complex systems as part of a team
- TypeScript, Webpack / Vite
- Self-driven to solve problems
- Good communication, teamwork, inter-team collaboration
Good to have
- One server-side programming language (TypeScript, Go, JavaScript, Kotlin, Python)
- PWA, Web Payments, Web Authentication API (WebAuthn), FedCM
- WebSocket API (WebSockets), Web APIs, Local Storage
- Kubernetes (K8s)
- Can design websites or web applications
- Experience in a startup environment
- Can adapt to fast-paced coding and sprints
Language Requirements
- Can work in Chinese OR Japanese OR English
- Can read and understand technical documents in English
