The Challenge
Are you a Front-End Developer passionate about creating intuitive and impactful user experiences across web and mobile platforms? At Planboo, you'll play a critical role in developing the interfaces that connect users to our groundbreaking biochar technology. You'll collaborate closely with our backend engineers and cross-functional teams to build responsive, high-performing applications that advance our mission.
Your challenge: Build and enhance user-friendly web and mobile applications that drive global carbon removal initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Take ownership of feature development from concept to deployment, delivering reliable, scalable solutions.
- User Experience: Work closely with product designers to deliver an engaging user experience.
- Problem Solving: Tackle a wide range of technical challenges, contributing ideas and solutions to improve Planboo’s products.
- Testing & Feedback: Conduct user testing and implement feedback-driven improvements. Write UI and Unit tests to to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and services.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in React and React Native development.
- Strong proficiency in Javascript/Typescript.
- Experience in API integration and working with backend teams.
- Local Storage & Sync: Experience in optimizing local storage usage and implement data synchronization strategies for offline and online modes.
- Experience in writing UI tests and Unit tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
- Experience in user testing strategies and implementing feedback-driven improvements.
- Experience in Performance Optimization**:** Ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of applications across all systems.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and responsive design.
- Passion for building mission-driven products.
Nice-to-Haves
- Backend knowledge in Node.js, AWS services, and familiarity with microservices or serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with AWS services like S3, or ECS.
- Prior experience in Native Mobile Development
