As Front-end Developer you play a crucial role in helping democratise data by designing and co-creating reporting packages that turn complex, large data sets into valuable visual insights. You will be instrumental in driving informed decisions-making and enabling business movements.
This means that you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Finance & Navigation organisation to understand their data needs and translate these into clear, compelling visualisations.
- Create, develop and deploy report to transform data into insightful analysis and support decision making.
- Develop impactful measures and connected visualizations and document with parameters, models and relationship explanations.
- Drive continuous improvement through collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies and best practices.

- You have a very good knowledge in BI development tools and you are skilled in creating dashboards, implementing Row-level Security (RLS), writing DAX expressions, and developing custom BI products in PowerBI and SAP Fiori.
- You are technical savvy with experience with Azure services and knowledge in SQL. You are familiar with data models, evaluating the performance of reports, and collaborating with team members to find the best solutions.
- You have a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management practices.
- You have excellent listening skills, able to interact with stakeholders – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you.
- You act as role model for IKEA values and you have strong communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships.
- You are able to work in an environment where the pre-conditions may change from one day to another and where we need to deliver these changes within short notice.
- You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.
We also believe you have
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Power BI and SAP Fiori
- Experience with working agile / scrum
- Experience in working with global and/or remote teams
- NOTE: Due to long permit process, we prefer candidates with valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship
