Responsibilities include developing new features, creating reusable components, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. REPORTS TO Engineering Manager JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js and other modern front-end technologies
  • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes and visual designs into interactive and visually appealing user interfaces
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance
  • Integrate front-end elements with back-end services and APIs
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the application works smoothly across a variety of devices and browsers
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile workflows
  • Test your work thoroughly, utilizing unit testing and end-to-end testing methodologies to ensure quality and reliability

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 3 years of  experience with React.js and its core principles (React hooks, component lifecycle, state management)
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development best practices
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and Next.js
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into a React application
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience working closely with designers
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • English proficiency is a must. It's important you can communicate your ideas clearly as you will be interacting with English-speaking coworkers
  • Must be based in Buenos Aires
  • Availability to work full-time from Mon to Fri from 9 to 6 local time, and onsite from our office in CABA Tuesdays and Thursdays
