The successful candidate will work as a business analyst providing help across the functional workstreams on the Financials and PSA project. You will report to the WPP Workday Functional workstream lead.

What you'll be doing:

As a Workday FINS and PSA Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding business requirements and translating them into effective Workday solutions and processes. You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to capture key decisions, identify gaps, and document future state processes. Your expertise will be crucial in creating comprehensive fit-gap analyses and ensuring all dependencies and open items are understood and addressed.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and deliverables.
  • Workshop Participation:
    • Attend and actively participate in discovery and design workshops.
    • Capture and document key decisions, open items, and dependencies discussed during workshops.
  • Fit-Gap Analysis:
    • Create detailed fit-gap analyses to compare current state processes with future state requirements in Workday.
    • Identify areas where existing processes do not align with Workday capabilities and collaborate with business stakeholders to define solutions or alternatives.
  • Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of future state processes.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Dependency and Issue Management:
    • Track and manage dependencies, risks, and issues related to the Workday implementation.
    • Proactively identify potential roadblocks and work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies.

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in ERP or HRIS transformation projects.
  • Understanding of financial processes and professional services operations
  • Ideally, experience in Workday Financials and Professional Services Automation modules
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable system solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of interacting with diverse teams and influencing decision-making
  • Excellent documentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with fit-gap analysis and process mapping.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
