The role
The freelance Vice President, Project Manager role provides oversight and direction to cross-functional and embedded teams responsible for piloting and then deploying a two-way communication app for a Detroit-based auto manufacturer. This role requires the person to influence and guide the team, building consistency and continuity throughout the pilot, deployment, and sustaining phases. The Vice President, Project Manager will work with digital content creators to oversees the development and execution of the digital content strategy, fostering an active and engaged community on the app across this automaker's manufacturing sites. This role focuses on driving employee engagement through integrated communications initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights and a keen understanding of the needs and desires of this automaker's workforce. This person will report to an executive at the automaker along with an executive at Weber Shandwick.
