About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced music producer to transform six acoustic songs into fully produced tracks for their debut album. The artist has a clear vision for the sound and is looking for a skilled professional who can bring that vision to life through expert instrumentation and production techniques. This project offers an opportunity to shape the sound of a new artist's first major release, with potential for an ongoing collaborative relationship.

Responsibilities:

• Produce six songs from acoustic format to fully realised, professional-quality tracks
• Collaborate closely with the artist to understand and execute their vision for each song
• Arrange and perform additional instrumentation as needed for each track
• Use production techniques to enhance the emotional impact and sonic quality of the songs
• Mix and potentially master the tracks to industry standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a music producer, particularly in folk/indie genres
• Proficiency in playing multiple instruments relevant to the artist's style
• Expert knowledge of music production software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live)
• Strong understanding of arrangement, mixing, and mastering techniques
• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
