About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled mid-level music arranger to assist with the composition of a classical song. The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting the musical arrangement and score, ensuring the final product is a harmonious and cohesive piece of classical music. This is a single project with a tight two-week timeline, and the arranger can work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the client to understand the desired style, mood, and characteristics of the classical song
• Compose a musical arrangement that showcases technical proficiency and artistic expression within the classical genre
• Develop the melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic elements of the composition to create a compelling and well-structured piece
• Produce a detailed musical score, including notation for all relevant instruments or voices

Requirements

• Expertise in music theory, orchestration, and the ability to write for a variety of classical instruments
• Proficiency in music notation software, such as Sibelius, Finale, or MuseScore
• Demonstrated ability to create original, harmonically rich, and structurally sound classical music
• Excellent time management skills to ensure the project is completed within the two-week timefram
