About the Job:

Our client is hiring a Manager, New Business Development & Process professional who will be brought in to increase the team capacity as volume of RFPs and proposals ebb and flow throughout the year.

As the Manager, New Business Development & Process, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of outlined business objectives alongside the current Business Development and Marcom team. The responsibilities will include strategic leadership of the network's RFPs and proposals, maintaining and updating thought leadership, content assets, case studies, etc.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of agencies across the network and collaborate with senior teams in order to manage all tasks that fall within the responsibility of the business development team. You will ensure that all stages of the RFP process are delivered with a high degree of strategic input, quality and attention to detail.

What you'll do:

  • Strategic leadership of the network's RFPs and proposals
  • Client target list research working with Business Development leads
  • Review and interact with inbound leads and qualify and assign prospects
  • Draft sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required by collaborating with functional teams
  • Develop best practices and efficient processes for maintaining business development assets
  • Report to the Business Development VP/SVP on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) pipeline results
  • Manage and maintain development pipeline, lead information and CRM database
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communication leads to implement and execute communication and thought leadership plans building the network's profile.
  • Support the planning and execution of industry events

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, strategy or production within a creative agency.
  • Strong understanding of the creative industry and client needs.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing RFP processes (all phases) and securing new business.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Google Suite.
