About the Role

A client is seeking a skilled 3D animator to create a high-quality, realistic animation of a beverage can interaction. This short-form animation project focuses on detailed product physics and material deformation, requiring expertise in realistic object animation and material rendering.

Responsibilities:

• Create a photorealistic 3D animation of a beer can opening sequence
• Animate detailed mechanics of the can tab movement and seal breaking
• Develop realistic metal deformation for the can crushing sequence
• Ensure proper lighting and texturing for metallic surfaces

Requirements

• Proven experience in 3D product animation
• Strong portfolio demonstrating realistic object animations
• Expert knowledge of material physics and deformation simulation
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.)
• Experience with metallic material rendering and lighting
• Understanding of real-world physics and object behaviour
