About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled 3D animator to collaborate on a unique holiday project for a corporate client. The project involves creating a two-minute, fully 3D animated video in a nostalgic 1960s Rankin Bass style. This video will highlight the company's 2024 achievements and express gratitude to their staff. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in 3D animation with a particular flair for recreating classic animation aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

• Create a two-minute 3D animated video in the style of 1960s Rankin Bass productions
• Collaborate closely with the project lead to develop and refine concepts
• Model and animate characters based on the client's employees
• Design and create 3D environments representing the client's offices and business locations
• Implement a nostalgic, retro animation style while maintaining modern 3D quality

Requirements

• Proven experience in 3D animation, particularly in character animation and environment creation
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in animation styles, especially retro or nostalgic aesthetics
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max)
• Excellent understanding of animation principles and techniques
