As a Central Fraud Analyst at FREE NOW, you will play an important role within our expanding end-to-end Fraud & Risk Team. This position offers a platform for creativity and innovation, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Data department, support and supply teams, and local markets.


YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

Fraud Detection and Analysis:

  • Analyze and decide on the approval of passengers, drivers, and transactions through the Fraud Investigation Tool (FIT) or any other 3rd party tools.
  • Identify and analyze new fraud trends globally.
  • Collaborate with other teams (PDC, Data, Product, Fintech) to enhance fraud prevention measures.
  • Utilize the various tracking and analysis tools to identify fraud patterns in the mobility environment independently.
  • Participate in the development of the processes to take care of both driver and rider fraud prevention.

Process Ownership and Improvement:

  • Own specific processes in the team based on expertise
  • Assist in implementing fraud prevention strategies, products, and processes.
  • Translate the raw data into fraud patterns that the team can act upon on

Investigation and Support:

  • Support senior analysts in conducting comprehensive investigations.
  • Provide support to junior analysts.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE...

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, criminal justice).
  • 2-3 years of experience in fraud detection or financial crime investigation.
  • Logic reasoning.
  • Experience with fraud prevention nomenclatures, terms, and processes.
  • Knowledge of SQL to extract data from the Data Warehouse is a plus.
