Fractional Finance Director

We are seeking a strategic fractional Finance Director to help optimise our financial operations. This role involves providing high-level financial insights, managing FP&A , and advising on key decisions that drive growth. You will work closely with the CEO.

You’ll have support from external accountants and a bookkeeper, working alongside an operations team that handles FinOps. You'll guide our financial strategy, ensure proper financial reporting, and oversee VC-facing financial communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial advice to support key decisions
  • Own the production of monthly management accounts
  • Oversee financial models and forward-looking strategies
  • Present financial data clearly to stakeholders 
  • Implement and maintain strong financial controls

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience
  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification
  • Ability to work 1–2 days a week
  • Confident communication skills
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar financial leadership role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
