We are seeking a strategic fractional Finance Director to help optimise our financial operations. This role involves providing high-level financial insights, managing FP&A , and advising on key decisions that drive growth. You will work closely with the CEO.
You’ll have support from external accountants and a bookkeeper, working alongside an operations team that handles FinOps. You'll guide our financial strategy, ensure proper financial reporting, and oversee VC-facing financial communications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial advice to support key decisions
- Own the production of monthly management accounts
- Oversee financial models and forward-looking strategies
- Present financial data clearly to stakeholders
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience
- CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification
- Ability to work 1–2 days a week
- Confident communication skills
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar financial leadership role, preferably in the technology sector.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
