About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support our finance operations with monthly reporting, forecasting/budgeting, financial business partnering and other ad hoc analyses. The Senior Financial Analyst will be mostly responsible for our Americas business and is placed in our Global FP&A Department and the responsibilities include but are not limited to financial analysis and modelling, tracking of financial and operational KPIs, monthly management reporting etc. Ultimately, you will act as a business partner and will prepare the required analyses for the management and other business stakeholders in order to support them with performance tracking and decision making.

This individual will bring along experience in presentations around financial and operational performance and will establish themselves as a trusted Finance Business Partner across various teams, actively contributing to overall strategic objectives.

Indicative Responsibilities and Goals:

  • Preparation of monthly reporting for the Americas Executive teams
  • Perform financial forecasting and analysis according to the Company’s goals and strategy
  • Analyze operational and financial data to create business models driving well-informed decisions
  • Provide recommendations for cost and financial performance improvement 
  • Enhance efficiency by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools
  • Support the customer service team by addressing cost-related inquiries and resolving billing issues.
  • Evaluate and report financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Tracking of operational, financial and people KPIs
  • Ad hoc financial analysis to generate insights for decision making
  • Assist the Finance team with other responsibilities and ad hoc requests
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management and department heads, offering financial insights and guidance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • A BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analysis, Engineering or other related field
  • 3-5 years of progressive work experience, ideally in Business & Financial Analysis with Business Partnering exposure, or an audit/consulting firm with emphasis on financial analysis & modeling
  • A sound understanding of local and international accounting principles; professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.) would be considered a plus (either completed or in progress)
  • Strong analytical & quantitative skills coupled with commercial/business acumen
  • Comfortable in dealing with large data sets and processing of financial information
  • Comfortable in extracting, combining and processing data from various sources and systems
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (highly proficient particularly in Excel and Powerpoint); knowledge of additional tools/functionalities will be considered a plus (PowerPivot, Alteryx, Think-cell etc.)
  • Fluency in English
  • High degree of attention to detail and dependability
  • Ability to coordinate with various teams while also working on projects as an individual contributor
  • Strong organizational and presentational skills
  • Proactiveness and self-motivation.
