About the role 

The position reports to the Finance Director and will be responsible for key elements of 10x Banking’s financial planning and analysis, commercial finance and business partnering. This is the ideal role for a highly- motivated individual who is eager to gain on the job training and to progress within the organisation. 

Overall responsibilities will be: 

 

  • Lead the development of the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-term planning 
  • Owning, maintaining and enhancing company financial models 
  • Develop and present monthly dashboards and KPIs providing insights and supporting data-driven decision making 
  • Streamline FP&A processes including forecasting and budgeting using software and tools where most effective 
  • Perform detail analysis of financial statements, identifying trends, risks and opportunities 
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamic and economic indicators assessing impact on financial performance 
  • Ownership of commercial models and calculations driving customer pricing 
  • Work with sales, operations and marketing teams to develop revenue projections and ROI analyses 
  • Act as finance business partner to other business partners supporting key financial decisions 
  • Support the finance director and wider team on ah-hoc financial analysis, scenario planning and projects as needed 

Requirements

  • Experience in SAAS/tech/ software and working in a business backed by growth finance (ie) venture capital/ private equity 
  • Strong financial modelling skills 
  • Accounting and reporting knowledge sufficient to interpret financial reports and build robust (3-statement) models 
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve 
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and able to prioritise, project manage and work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with a focus on delivering to agreed deadlines 
  • Excellent and confident communicator (especially with those from non-financial backgrounds) 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Previous experience in a similar role and in particular management reporting and month-end close 
  • Excellent knowledge of excel (as well as proficiency with other Microsoft programmes – Word, Powerpoint)
