FP&A Analyst
Location: Hybrid in New York City (3 day in-office requirement)
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as FP&A Analyst in a similar position
- Extensive knowledge of Excel & Google Sheets(Pivot table, data formulas, etc).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
- The ability to evaluate workload and prioritize multiple tasks to meet project deadlines
- High technical skills (maintaining and working with FP&A systems)
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and function as a team member
- Experience working with FP&A systems is a plus
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Building and maintaining yearly budget and rolling forecast.
- Monthly/ Quarterly tracking of budget vs. actual analysis decks of the company performance with financial insights.
- Be a business partner to functional owners throughout the organization; provide value-added insights to enable senior management to optimize actual spending.
- Build financial models to support forecasts and various ad-hoc requests, providing added value insights to management to support business decisions.
- Analyze the business activity and trends.
- Take part in the monthly closing process.
- Support with the investor package.
- Support the FP&A team with the implementation of a new business initiative
