Who we seek:

We’re seeking a FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team and provide financial planning and analysis activities for our Go to Market (GTM) teams. Reporting to the Director of FP&A - GTM, the FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in driving financial insights, providing strategic guidance, and supporting decision-making processes to ensure the long-term success of our Sales initiatives. The ideal candidate has a background in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration within the software industry, including sales & marketing leaders.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide FP&A support for our GTM and Post-Sales teams, collaborating closely with the respective leaders to drive financial performance and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets that provide accurate insights into the Sales & Marketing spend
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and provide financial guidance for sales initiatives, including capacity planning, 
  • Create and maintain monthly and quarterly financial planning processes, including the preparation and presentation of financial reports, variance analysis, and KPIs for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) from a finance standpoint to measure the effectiveness of GTM strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Build and refine models for sales commission expenses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with performance metrics and incentive structures.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with GTM objectives and strategic initiatives across sales and marketing.
  • Act as a strategic partner to sales, marketing, and product teams, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the FP&A function to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years experience in FP&A. Sales finance and marketing analysis in software - a plus
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and software development life cycle
  • Strong understanding of cloud hosting cost management 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Excellent business acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in G-Suite, Excel, and NetSuite. Experience with FP&A tools is a plus.

  • Ability to function independently as well as within a team effectively and efficiently
