About your role:

Are you a natural networker with a talent for recruiting? As our Foster Parent Recruitment Specialist, you’ll actively seek and engage potential foster and kinship parents through community events, professional networks, social media and other community engagements. Your role is all about building relationships, educating the community on the urgent need for foster parents, and driving recruitment efforts.

Through strategic outreach—both online and in-person—you’ll identify and inspire individuals to open their hearts and homes, with a focus on specialized populations like LGBTQ+ youth, high-needs children, youth 8 to 18, and medically fragile kids. You will walk alongside families through the certification process, providing the support and training they need to successfully foster.  Are you ready to make a direct impact on children’s lives?

Does the following apply to you?

  • Preferred:
    • Bachelors’ Degree in Social Service or a related field
    • 2 years or more of recruitment/marketing, or foster care experience Especially in Human relations, Social services, Behavioral/Social sciences, Non-profit, Education, or Child Development fields
    • Experience within the foster care system & knowledge of Vol. 7 Colorado State Rules and Regulations- preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean record and current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
  • SAFE Certified *can be completed upon hire
