About the role
Our scientists are at the forefront of our scientific research, driving projects and solving challenging problems for our clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic scientist to join the formulation team in Nottingham. You will be collaborating with an experienced team who will drive project progress through innovative problem solving.
The opportunity:
- Design and execute experiments to meet approved timelines and objectives.
- Analyse experimental outcomes and effectively communicate findings to the team.
- Maintain an organised lab environment. Ensure the lab remains clean, tidy, and safe, fostering a conscientious and collaborative working attitude.
- Gain an understanding of drug discovery and development.
- Adhere to all SOPs and guidelines.
- Plan personal work and scheduling, including checking availability and ordering of equipment and consumables.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed and maintained, both in own and others’ work.
- Attend research events to enhance formulation knowledge and disseminate information to the rest of the team.
Key requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or Chemistry related discipline.
- Knowledge of practical laboratory techniques.
- Passionate about drug development.
- Confident designing and executing experiments in a proactive and efficient manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
