We are looking for a Formulation Laborant to work in the Product Technology & Engineering department at Syngenta in Münchwilen (AG).
Accountabilities
- Carrying out standard laboratory formulation work. Carries out complex laboratory work under supervision and with the appropriate equipment
- Independent planning of experiments
- Oversees tests and devices based on defined guidelines
- First interpretation of data
- Performing independent experimental work programmes. Non-standard work can only be carried out under supervision.
- Documentation of experiments and test results for the subsequent evaluation by the line manager
- Responsible for safety, cleanliness, functionality, and use of work-relevant equipment and their environment
- Responsibility for a room or a piece of equipment (Milizaufgabe)
- Vocational training (qualification as a chemical laboratory technician or similar, preferably in the field of galenics, eg Labroant Fachrichtung Galenik mit EFZ)
- German: preferably level B2
- English: preferably level B2
- Use of Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of LIMS and ELN is an advantage
- Familiarity with a laboratory environment
