About the Team:

At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations and experiences that drive brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. This team sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-informed brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.

The role:

We are seeking a world class Food Stylist to join our internal creative team and help make CookUnity one of the most iconic, appetite-inducing food brands in the world. This role will be responsible for the preparation and styling of food for both photography and film. This role will see that all food products and meals across the brand are presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner, consistent with our established CookUnity food styling benchmarks.

The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, demonstrate relentless creativity, and possess a deep understanding of leading culinary techniques and trends. Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. We are looking for someone who is as ambitious as they are skilled with a portfolio showcasing a track record of exceptional work.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and style food items for multi-media purposes.
• Work with the Creative Director to ensure that food products are presented in an attractive, appealing manner consistent with CookUnity brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, professional chefs, and other team members to achieve desired visual outcomes.
• Provide creative input and ideas for food presentations and styling.
• Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into styling.
• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members and our in-house market place to ensure ingredients arrive on time and we have seamless execution of shoots.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Ensure all styling tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a Food Stylist, preferably in a commercial as well as editorial setting.
• Experience styling for video and various forms of social media is a must.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Excellent visual and aesthetic sense.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working with chefs in restaurant kitchens
• It is advantageous for the food stylist to have a culinary degree.
