The Job

The Manager, Fixed Asset Inventory, is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the company’s fixed assets. They will ensure that assets are tracked, monitored, and maintained throughout their lifecycle. This position will work closely with the accounting & procurement departments to facilitate efficient asset management practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities

  • Track, record, and maintain company assets in master inventory database.
  • Perform Fixed Assets inventory with site managers to verify that fixed assets accounting information matches with physical verification.
  • Collaborate with Finance & Accounting departments to provide asset management support.
  • Monitor information from the Procurement team to obtain the information necessary to properly record fixed asset additions.
  • Work closely with the accounting department to ensure fixed assets are properly booked in a timely manner.
  • Provide monthly reports on all new assets received & disposed of.
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • 3 years of previous experience in asset management, inventory control, or related field required.
  • Proficiency in asset tracking systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, onsite position. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. some nights and weekends may be required.
