Fixed Asset Accountant

Dolphin Debit, a full-service ATM management company and wholly owned subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc., is looking for a detail-oriented Fixed Asset Accountant to join our finance team. This role is essential in managing the company's fixed assets lifecycle—from acquisition and tracking to depreciation and disposal. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist in providing insights into asset utilization and capital investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update fixed asset records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate the accurate recording of acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets.
• Calculate and post depreciation entries for fixed assets on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and reconcile fixed asset reports and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Assist with physical inventory counts of fixed assets and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide support for audits related to fixed assets and capital expenditures.
• Analyze trends in asset utilization and provide recommendations for optimizing asset management.
• Work closely with departments to provide guidance on capital expenditure requests and fixed asset policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting or asset management.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and depreciation methods.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
